Certain brands of baby slings has been recalled due to infant suffocation and fall hazards. The Agency Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued a warning that baby slings can be dangerous or even deadly to infants.

CPSC has investigated more than 13 deaths related to baby slings in the last two decades and out of these three in just the last year. Infants younger than four months were the most affected.
